On 23 April 2027, Jennifer Rostock come to the Zenith in Munich. After roughly eight years off, the Berlin rock band around singer Jennifer Weist are back and play one of the bigger hall shows of their comeback on the "Alles muss man selber hassen Tour 2027".
The comeback
The band was formed in Berlin, while the singer's roots are on the island of Usedom. Since their debut "Ins offene Messer" (2008), Jennifer Rostock have released six albums and earned a firm place in the German scene with a mix of rock, punk, pop and electronic elements. In 2018 they went on hiatus after a farewell tour, and Jennifer Weist worked as a solo artist under the name Yaenniver in the meantime.
In June 2026 the band returned with the single "Wir schon wieder". It was followed by "Bist du noch da?", the title track "Alles muss man selber hassen", "Fehler im System" and, in October, "Hände". In early October, Jennifer Rostock played five club shows in Munich, Cologne, Leipzig, Berlin and Hamburg, which were reportedly sold out.
The line-up has changed too: bassist Christoph Deckert has officially left the band and is replaced by Josi Hille. On guitar, Elmar Weyland takes over from Alex Voigt.
Album and tour
The album of the same name, "Alles muss man selber hassen", is due on 29 January 2027. The tour starts on 15 April 2027 in Wiesbaden and ends on 8 May at the Berlin Velodrom. The Zenith show follows a little over a week after the tour opener.
