From the photo pit, usually during the first three songs. Every show gets a gallery here on Rock'n'Pics, often with a story on Pitview

Who's behind it
About
I'm a concert photographer by passion - and a musician myself. As a bass player I know what the stage feels like: the light in your face, the push from the PA, the moment just before the first note and that energy when band and crowd suddenly become one. Those are exactly the seconds I'm hunting for with my camera.
Having grown up with rock, punk, alternative, crossover and metal, I was never just a spectator. I'm not after the perfect press shot but the real moment: sweat in the backlight, hands on the instrument, a sideways glance, the crowd just before it goes wild - the moment that can't be repeated.
Rock'n'Pics stands for concert photography with closeness, volume and feeling - live, backstage and wherever music isn't just played but lived.
I'm out at gigs on a regular basis, combining a photographer's eye with a musician's feel.
