President - Munich

On 9 November 2026, President take the stage in Munich for the first time. The masked band from England plays the Backstage Werk as part of their "Blood Of Your Empire" tour. The show is sold out. Vianova and Dreamwake join as support.

A band without faces

President drew attention as early as 2025, when they appeared on the Download Festival line-up without a single released song. Their first track, "In The Name Of The Father", came out in May, and their first live show followed at Download Festival on 15 June. They released their debut EP "King Of Terrors" in September of the same year.

To this day, the four musicians keep their identities secret. Frontman "The President" appears on stage in a suit and a caricature-like presidential mask, and the other band members hide their faces as well. The staging is part of the band's concept, with shows designed as political rallies.

Musically, President combine heavy metalcore riffs with atmospheric electronics, danceable beats and influences from hip-hop and R&B. In February 2026, the band signed a deal with Atlantic Records.

The debut album

The band's first studio album, "Blood Of Your Empire", was released on 4 September 2026. Its ten songs add up to a little over 37 minutes. Lyrically, the album deals with faith, religious upbringing, personal doubt and the question of how religion has been used throughout history to justify power and violence.

The singer also draws on his own experiences in a strongly religious environment. This is most evident in "Mercy", while "DOOM LOOP" tackles the constant distraction of social media. The singles released ahead of the album also include "Angel Wings" and "dark heaven".
