On 16 January 2027, the Backstage Werk will be rapping in Bavarian dialect. Los Brudalos bring their show "Super Sweet 16" to Munich. The self-proclaimed "most brudal band in Bavaria" packs heavy bass, crude lyrics and a pretty relaxed attitude towards their own dignity.
The band comes from the Oberland region around Bad Tölz and Miesbach and, by their own account, has been around since 2010. The two rappers KidRäp and Oid O have known each other since their school days. Together with Hairy Harry they combine dialect rap with rock'n'roll and electronic beats. Beer, village life and long boozy nights are firm fixtures of their lyrics. Regularly aiming below the belt is part of the concept - and so is the ability to laugh at themselves.
Their repertoire includes "Guad Weida", "Meister Eder", "Bauwong" and "Fayern". Together with the Glueboys they also released "Oana geht no". In the press release for the "Bavarian Pie Tour 2025/26", the band puts its streams so far at around 21 million. A snapshot from the tour announcement that shows just how far the songs have come.
Away from the music, the two rappers have plenty to talk about too: since 2020 KidRäp and Oid O have been running a podcast, first called "Brudal", now "Bayerns Most Wanted". It covers Bavaria, their everyday life and their self-ironically embellished lives as rap superstars.
The "Bavarian Pie Tour 2025/26" takes in club shows, festivals and beer tents. That Los Brudalos can pull a crowd in a club too was shown, among other things, by their sold-out show at the L.A. in Cham on 21 March 2026. For Munich they have announced an elaborate stage show.
What interests me most is what they will roll out at the Werk for "Super Sweet 16" - and how much room is left between the songs for their very own sense of humour. And beer, of course. Either way, the three of them have more than enough material for a loud night.
