Alter Bridge formed in Orlando, Florida, in 2004. Guitarist Mark Tremonti, bassist Brian Marshall and drummer Scott Phillips came from Creed. In Myles Kennedy, they found a singer whose voice has become central to their sound. Songs such as “Blackbird”, “Metalingus” and “Open Your Eyes” have been live staples for years. Their self-titled eighth studio album was released in January 2026.
