Emil Bulls formed in Hohenschäftlarn near Munich in 1995 and have been a fixture of the Munich scene ever since. Singer Christoph von Freydorf leads the band through a sound of alternative metal, heavy riffs and big melodies. In 2001, their cover of a-ha’s “Take On Me” was released as a single. Their twelfth studio album, “Love Will Fix It”, was released in 2024. Every December, they regularly return to Backstage for their X-Mas Bash.
