Band

Life of Agony

Life of Agony formed in Brooklyn, New York, in 1989, founded by Keith Caputo (vocals), Alan Robert (bass) and Joey Z. (guitar). Their 1993 debut, “River Runs Red”, combines hardcore, metal and dark melancholy and is still regarded as a classic. After break-ups and comebacks, the band has been active again since 2014, with Veronica Bellino on drums since 2018. Their most recent album, “The Sound of Scars”, was released in 2019. In 2025, the band was inducted into the Metal Hall of Fame.
