Mammoth is the project of Wolfgang Van Halen, son of Eddie Van Halen. He played every instrument on the 2021 debut “Mammoth WVH” himself and performs with a regular backing band live. His sound blends hard rock with alternative rock and metal. The project dropped the WVH initials in 2025, the same year its third album, “The End”, was released.
