Spike and the Gimme Gimmes

Spike and the Gimme Gimmes are the punk cover band. Singer Spike Slawson and NOFX frontman Fat Mike founded them in San Francisco in 1995 as Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. Ever since, they have played pop, country and show tune hits at punk speed, each album with its own theme: singer-songwriter classics on “Have a Ball” (1997), country on “Love Their Country” (2006). In 2024, they released a punk cover of ABBA’s “Dancing Queen”. Since April 2025, the band has been touring without Fat Mike as Spike and the Gimme Gimmes. On stage is a line-up of well-known punk musicians, on the 2026 Take The Fall Tour including CJ Ramone on bass. Their new album “Shit the Bed” was released on 23 October 2026 through Fat Wreck Chords.
